SHALIMAR L ESSENCE PARFUM INTENSE edp vapor 90 ml

Shalimar, the iconic amber scent brought to life by Jacques Guerlain, is commemorating its 100th anniversary. In honor of this remarkable milestone, Guerlain introduces Shalimar L'Essence, a potent variation that encapsulates the essence of Shalimar into a concentrated form. This creation pays homage to the boldness, modern allure, and timeless charm of Guerlain's most celebrated women's fragrance. More than just a scent, Shalimar L'Essence serves as a love letter; one penned by Delphine Jelk, the brand's Creative Director of Perfumery, recognizing the legacy of the House and its most notable note: vanilla. By incorporating a refined tincture of Madagascar vanilla—rooted in Guerlain's age-old practices—alongside the ethyl vanillin from Jacques Guerlain's original blend, Jelk infuses Shalimar with heightened richness while preserving its signature aroma. A hint of bergamot delicately brightens the floral core, which harmoniously unites rose absolute and the soft, powdery allure of iris. As the fragrance develops, the amber essence deepens, revealing heightened layers. An abundant application of vanilla introduces new subtle, woody, and slightly zesty nuances. For this latest creation, Guerlain has reimagined the emblem on its legendary bottle, drawing inspiration from the Art Deco movement that defines Shalimar’s era. The newly designed bold, graphic logo glimmers in a golden shade, mirroring the fragrance's character. This bottle—anchored in heritage yet distinctly modern—symbolizes the seamless connection between timeless Shalimar and its future.
