FLOWER BY KENZO POPPY BOUQUET floral edp 50 ml

Flower by Kenzo Poppy Bouquet is a striking feminine Eau de Parfum that falls within the Floral scent category. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the original FLOWER BY KENZO, crafted by renowned perfumer Alberto Morillas, this fresh interpretation was introduced in 2020 in collaboration with emerging perfumer Dora Baghriche. The fragrance centers around a lush bouquet, with the poppy remaining at its core.

The scent opens with a refreshing note of Nashi pear, a springtime symbol in various Asian cultures and native to Japan, offering juicy and uplifting undertones. This is followed by a vibrant floral heart that creates a captivating explosion; the Bulgarian rose absolute melds its sensual, feminine qualities with the radiance of Chinese gardenia, which brings creaminess and green notes into the mix. This aromatic experience is anchored by a deep, woody base featuring intense almond wood intertwined with creamy, milky fruit notes.

The bottle design pays homage to the poppy flower, capturing the essence of energy, strength, and balance, all presented in a vibrant pink to enhance its floral character.

In crafting this fragrance, Alberto Morillas sought to evoke the aroma of a flower that is naturally scentless. The poppy, devoid of fragrance, was imbued with distinctive powdery and floral qualities, celebrating its unique character two decades later.

This scent is ideal for modern women who appreciate avant-garde floral fragrances that seamlessly fit into any urban landscape around the globe.
